“Finesse” was produced by 12 Keyz. Sean is currently in the studio working on his highly anticipated follow-up project to My Inception entitled ScottSZN.
Sean Scott has been slowly establishing himself as one of the rising stars out of Hell’s Kitchen and with the release of his first EP, My Inception, he builds upon that momentum. Produced in its entirety by Pav Bundy, with no features, Sean has proven that he is more than able to put together a body of work that is timeless. “In a time where some may say that bass-booming, villainous synth, snare heavy, dumbed down, Southern Trap-Rap records is in and live instrumentation twined Hip-Hop is out, New York emcee Sean Scott shows up with “Wine Etiquette,” delivering one of the most most mafioso, orchestral, impressively written songs out right now.
In an email, Sean explains, “‘Wine Etiquette’ is one of those laid back records that you can just cool out, smoke some weed and just chill. I decided on putting this song out because everything is ‘turn up turn up’ in rap right now but I’m on ‘lets kickback and relax’ mode.”
The beat by Pav Bundy is very lush sonically without resonating as overproduced and glossy. Shimmery chimes and rich keys over live percussion leave little to no complaints in the production department which Sean plays off as he details a future of luxury and achieved aspirations. Although his flow isn’t complicated or astonishing this time around, it’s very clean and the Atlanta born artist rides the beat to perfection.”
